Camelot are delighted to have been shortlisted for 'Occupier of the Year' in this year'sEstates Gazette Awards.

This new award celebrates the achievements of occupiers in delivering and developing effective property strategies. These strategies may have delivered better value, improved flexibility or contributed significantly to overall corporate ambitions during the awards year (January 2010 - present). Judges wanted to see clear evidence of success on the part of the organisation's property team and gain a clear understanding of how it is that that team has made a difference to the business.

Andrew Griffiths, UK Managing Director, Prologis states: "It's a reward for the hard work that the team and everyone connected with the business has put in, in what has been a very difficult period for everyone in the property industry."

Despite the recession, Camelot has continued to see year on year growth, have seen expansion in terms of offices, employees and new product development and are on the way to becoming the knowledge leaders within the protection by occupation and vacant property markets. Camelot has marked the positive step towards an efficient and effective security solution that considers the needs of their clients as well as society and the community and are therefore worthy of the title of Great Britain's Occupier of The Year.

Bloomberg, Forever 21, The Ministry of Justice and Whitbread Hotels & restaurants have also been shortlisted for the award.

The winner of the award will be announced on Thursday 8th December at The London Hilton, Park Lane - watch this space!
